Truck Center of America was founded by Lewis Nerman after over 40 years in the truck business as President of Arrow Truck Sales, Inc. The success of Truck Center of America is built on the principles of providing high-quality, pre-owned vehicles to customers who want to maximize the value of their investment.
Customer Satisfaction is our primary goal. Truck Center of America’s motto is “Our Word is Our Bond”. We place the highest priority on providing clean, trade-term trucks to customers across the nation. We build relationships with our customers so that we are the first call made when looking to buy or sell equipment.
Truck Center of America is fully funded for buying and selling to meet the needs of our customers. We are positioned to anticipate trends, anticipate needs, and provide service into the future.

Lewis Nerman

[email protected] Founder and Managing Partner of Truck Center of America, LLC. which was formed in 2003 after the sale of Arrow Truck Sales, Inc to Volvo Corporation. Truck Center of America buys and sells preowned trucks, tractors and trailers throughout the United States and internationally. From 1971 through 2000, Lewis was with Arrow Truck Sales, a family business that operated for over 60 years, and served as president from 1985 to 2000. Lewis graduated from both the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Degree in Business as well as Harvard University with a Masters in Business Administration. Lewis is a husband, father and grandfather.

Greg Nerman

[email protected] Greg was born with trucking in his blood. As a grandson of Jerry Nerman, he began learning the business at a young age playing in trucks on the lot at Arrow Truck Sales. Greg has an intimate knowledge of the business, and has been selling trucks for over 10 years. Instilled in him are the values of integrity, respect, and attention to detail. Greg is a family man with devotion to his loving wife and two kids.

Shane Lutzk

[email protected] Shane focuses on delivering trucking solutions for clients by helping them achieve financial liquidity of un-used assets. He enjoys being part of the experienced sales and consulting team, and representing Truck Center of America’s truck industry tradition. Shane received a bachelor’s degree from the Kansas City Art Institute, and a master’s degree from Arizona State University. Shane enjoys spending time with his family, creating ceramic projects and taking fitness classes. Shane looks forward to meeting your transportation objectives.

Chasity Hamblin

[email protected] A seasoned Office Manager with over 17 years in the field.  Chasity has extensive experience with all aspects of Office Administration.  Prior to joining Truck Center of America she was an Office Manager in the Automotive Industry for several years.  She is able to tailor her skills based on the needs of her customers and prides herself on providing quality customer service to all our clients. In addition to her duties as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant, Chasity has 2 children with whom she is very active in their academic & extra-curricular sports activities. She spends most of her time with family & friends and enjoys traveling and watching her children play sports.

A Tribute To Jerry Nerman


In 1950 Jerome Nerman founded Arrow Truck Sales which became the largest pre-owned truck business in America with 22 locations at the time of its sale in 1998 to Volvo Truck of North America. In addition to multiple honors from the industry, Mr. Nerman also founded the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City and has touched the hearts of many people including the recipients of the Jerome Nerman Scholarship Award that takes place every year.
 
Mr. Nerman has received several honors from the industry that include:
 
• Used Truck Association Lifetime Achievement Award
• Truck Bluebook Jerome Nerman Industry Achievement Award
• The Truck Dealer of the Year from the Used Truck Association
• President and founder of the Used Truck Association
• American Truck Historical Society Achievement Award
  
Jerome was a father, grandfather and great grandfather.
